Dr. Luca Piombino is a globally renowned plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon in Rome Italy where he runs one of the most successful surgical practices. When not working at his own clinic, he divides his time between the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, where he helps manage and advise the body contouring surgical unit at several leading European clinics.
The son of a plastic surgeon, he inherited his father’s passion for aesthetics and surgery and after studying medicine and surgery in Naples, Italy, Dr. Piombino continued his medical studies in the United States at the University of California Irvine, where he served as research associate for the department of Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery, as well as in Argentina, where he further refined his specialty in plastic aesthetic surgery. Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 1,200 certified and reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgeries.
Actively involved in humanitarian surgical missions, Dr. Piombino has traveled extensively all around the world providing treatment to trauma and oncological outcomes and congenital malformations. His intuitional aesthetic brilliance, combined with a passion for the study in pediatric plastic surgery, and a specific focus on the cranio-facial area has made him a leader in the treatment of specialized surgical cases involving children.
